I helped teach CS61B, one of the prerequisite courses for the Computer Science major at UC Berkeley, for three semesters.
My friend Sanchit and I built a lecture watching and note-taking platform to improve the lecture watching experience. We worked with faculty and staff at UC Berkeley and the National University of Singapore to pilot use in classes. We ultimately decided to work on other things, but you can watch a demo of Lectio here!
I worked on the Media Consumption team at Twitter where I built an HTTP service that helps power all playable media on Twitter and other Twitter services, including Twitter Moments and implemented embedded Facebook playback for video tweets.
I worked on a number of social apps at Five, first on Five Labs, a personality generation tool that allowed you to compare your results with your friends. The web app soon went viral! Afterwards, we worked on Five, a private room-based iOS messaging app, where I worked on the backend messaging systems as well as the web app.
